Rome: a visual diary + my tips Image 1

I recently went on a citytrip to Rome and I must say, pictures really doesn't do it justice. Especially the architecture really was breathtaking! My favourite thing was that there was so much history in every corner, read my tips on what to do, where to stay and what to eat below.

- To visit: the Trevi fountain

I've never been so overwhelmed by architecture than the moment I saw the Trevi fountain, it's so impressive!

The picture really really doesn't do it justice, you just have to see it in person.

- to eat: Giolitti ice-cream

Giolitti was the first ice-cream shop in Rome. No joke, this was the best ice-cream I've had in my life (and I've had many :p )

Did you ever see such a dark chocolate scoop? Must try when you are in Rome!

- to eat: by the Pantheon

The Pantheon is surounded by little restaurants and cafés. I've had the best pasta with such an amazing view, loved it!

- to visit: Vatican City

Together with the Trevi fountain, it was the place I was most impressed of. The architecture... It's crazy that mankind could build such incredible buildings before the help of technology. The only thing I would recommend is to search for a guide who offers a 'skip the line' ticket, especially when you visit Rome in season, so you don't have to wait in line to visit the buildings.

a day in paris Image 1

I try to visit Paris at least one time a year. Because it's only a 3 hour drive away it's something that luckily is easy to achieve! We waited until the weather was perfect, which was a good decision, it was just the perfect spring day. Aaand I bought something I was eyeing for a long time, but first here's some snaps I made that day, enjoy!

One of the highlights of my trip: discovering the Wynwood art district. It's a more alternative area where all the walls are covered with awesome graffiti art. There are also alot of art galleries and cute cafes, definitely go there if you're in Miami!

This was taken at the Art Basel exposition, the main event that week in Miami. It's a giant place where alot of different galleries expose the work of there artists for people to buy them. It took us several hours to see everything! This huge diamond was one of my favourites, it's by the legend Jeff Koons and it's worth millions.

The brand Toiletpaper had a stand where you could walk between all kinds of strange things, the place was covered in funny prints and absurd objects.

Also from the Toiletpaper Stand, fake spaghetti in the sink, why not :p

Hellooo from Miami! I wanted to update you with some pictures, I love it here! The weather is so great, it's amazing to have some sun when it's so cold in Belgium. It's my third day here, we're here for art Miami, one of the biggest art fairs in the world.

I took the picture above in the art deco district in Miami, such a must see! The architecture is so inspiring, love the 80's vibe and the pastel colors.
