You can call me Master now, because I'm officially graduated as Master in Communication Science! :D It's kind of weird that after all these years I will never be a student again.. Weird but also exciting! It's a cliché, but this marks a new chapter in my life filled with new goals and challenges which I'm ready for to pursue! It was hard work, but I would never ever be able to achieve this without the support of my parents, friends and boyfriend which I'm super grateful for <3 Now let's do thissss!
A little while ago I was invited by Jo Malone to discover their newest Basel & Neroli scent. I must admit that I wasn't that familiar with the brand, but I've completely fallen in love with it now I know a bit more about it! I adore that Jo Malone is a brand that tells a story and has so much history. Let me tell you a bit more about the products I've discovered!
Here's the newest scent to the Jo Malone family: Basel & Neroli. Fun fact: it took three years to create this scent, isn't that insane? The scent itself smells fresh but sophisticated. I think 'sophisticated' is the best word to describe it. I haven't smelled a scent like this before, it's very unique. What I also like alot is that it can be layered with other scents of Jo Malone. I've mixed the Basel & Neroli scent with their Rose scent and it was just divineee!
This is the Dark Amber & Ginger Lily body crème. The consistency is very rich but it sinks very fast into the skin so you don't feel greasy at all after using this body crème.The scent again is very unique. I would describe this one as a warm and comforting scent, perfect to help you unwind at the end of the day.
This Lime Basil & Mandarin scented candle fills the room immediately with a fresh smell. The touch of mandarin adds an interesting note to it, I love it, I'm sure you can't go wrong with this one!
Definitely the start of a growing collection! Do you own any Jo Malone products? What are your favourites? Tell me!
This is what I wore mostly for visiting some cities around Marbella. It's a comfy and light two-piece, in other words perfect for those 30+ degree days discovering new places. I figured out it can look fast like you're wearing PJ's (but that's also ok because it seems to be a huge trend at the moment :p ) But to dress it up I added some jewelry, a bag and a pair of sunnies. One of my fav looks during my holiday, hope you like it! :)
two-piece and earrings: H&M / sunglasses: &OtherStories / sneakers: Adidas
This summer I went to Tomorrowland and WeCanDance here in Belgium. I was so happy to hear that one of my favourite make-up brands MAC cosmetics was going to be represented at both festivals. Firstly I went to Tomorrowland where the main stage was like a dream, there were even little waterfalls in it!
Here's my MAC festival kit I that came quite in handy. The travel sized Studio Moisture Cream and Prep & Prime spray were my absolute essentials during the summerfestivals! You can also see a waterproof mascara, a duo eyeshadow and a versicolour stain in the color 'forever, darling'. All the products are fantastic, like we're used to from MAC.
My favourite part of Tomorrowland was the set of our fellow Belgian Lost Frequencies, his music and the ambiance during his set was amazing!
My favourite stage besides the main stage.
I went for a quick stop at the MAC booth on Tomorrowland for a make-up look that would last aaall day.
Not the best picture, but this was the look. Love how the brown and gold eyeshadow fade into each other, something I will definitely try out myself!
The second festival I went to this summer was WeCanDance at the Belgian coast, the weather was absolutely perfect that day!
One of the stages, the theme was 'space' this year so almost everyone was dressed in their best spacey outfits, loved that!
I went for a Star Wars look
Here's the booth from MAC, they didn't miss out on the space theme and created space looks with the MAC Star Trek collection.
Here's the look I got, I really loved the touch of glitter on the eyes!
The MAC Star Trek collection is full of muted and shimmery colors, something that's quite easy to use in everyday looks.
Here's a pressed pigment in the color 'bird of prey'. It's a greenish-brownish color. Something that's a little different but still very wearable.
More space goodness: a lipstick in the color 'kling it on', lipglass in 'pleasure planet' and nailpolish in 'skin of evil'.
Hope you liked this little diary! Summer sadly comes to an end already here, I'm so nooot ready for fall and winter yet! Wish you a lovely weekend! xx
